Aoi Hana Manga follows the story of a girl named Akira Okudaira. After moving to an all girls school called Fujigaya Girls Academy she is reunited with her old school friend called Fumi Manjome who is struggling with her feelings towards a girl they both know from their drama club.
Yasuko Sugimoto, is adored by everyone and is a third year student. Akira and her friend named Kyoko join the club and Kyoko tries to get Yasuko to fall in love with her. However, she turns her down in Aoi Hana. Very soon, Fumi and Yasuko become a couple and Fumi comes out to her friend Akira, while this is all very new to Akira she tries to accept and support her friend.
