In a world where the most popular game is a virtual reality game called sword and sorceress, our main protagonist satoshi is a master sorcerer named zelos merlin. With time his virtual character has gained enormous power and amazing spells so much so that he is the only one who has the power to face the evil god.
Satoshi tries and challenges the god in an extremely difficult match satoshi or rather Zelos merlin comes out victorious, now the evil god has finally been defeated. However he dies during the fight. Sometime later our main protagonist opens his eyes and is shocked when he sees that he is in an enchanted forest of some sort. The landscape is something entirely different from what he has ever seen.
Furthermore he is not in his normal clothes instead he is wearing the clothes of Zelos merlin his online virtual reality character. He later finds out that the fantasy world he was living in has just become a reality. He is then asked by a goddess for help, an extremely powerful threat has been looming this fantasy world for ages and seeing that Satoshi was the only one who could kill the evil god, he is asked to defeat this powerful enemy. Will he be able to come out triumphant this time find out in this manga.
