Chikotan, Kowareru is an ongoing manga written by Imai Yuu. First released in the year 2016, the manga continues to stay unfinished, with more chapters adding to the plot, for now. A fantasy romance that has made thousands of readers to follow up as the chapters are dropped periodically. The manga comprises of genres like Comedy, Ecchi, Harem, Mystery, Romance, School life, Sci-fi and Seinen.
The story of the Chikotan, Kowareru manga surrounds the two main characters named Ousaka and Chikotan. Ousaka is nothing but an average high school student. His life stays uninteresting until one day he grows more concern than usual about one mysterious girl in his class named as Chikotan. She never talked, never ever spoke a single word to anyone and always kept a pair of headphones on her head. One would call her an introvert but she was having total isolation from every human around her.
A few moments later, he finds Chiko but in a very bizarre situation. He finds her holding on to her life on the roof a building. Ousaka rushes and saves Chiko from the fall. There, he listens to her for the first time.
She tells him that she doesn’t speak because she thinks her voice is weird but Ousaka finds her voice to be rather cute. She thanks him for saving his life but asks him to never come close to her ever again.
But Ousaka never really left her and stayed in touch with her. Their friendship grew deeper with this until one day a horrible accident happens. Chikotan From Chikotan, Kowareru Manga at Mangazuki slips and falls into a pit of concrete head first and dies on the spot.
Ousaka is left with grief and horror after this incident. Living with that, he shows up to the school the next day only to have his mind blown.
