The days manga is a very interesting and relatively easy to understand and read sports manga which features a young clumsy boy names Takashi who is constantly bullied and has barely any friends. Takashi decides to go to a high school to be near to his only friend and neighbor Suryuri who studies in seiski high school.
However, on his way back he is bullied again, only this time he is saved by a boy named Jin Kazami who later invites him to play soccer with some of his friends. That night, Takashi runs across the rain without a shoe but makes it to the game despite having a run in with bullies.
He surprises Jin by trying his best and while he plays bad, he motivates others by running around and not giving a damn about his foot. Later it turns out Jin goes to the same high school and is a freshman about to take part in their Seiseki high schools amazing soccer team.
