Happy Sugar Life is a japanese manga known as Happi Shuga Raifu in Japan. It is a psychological Thriller Manga series which has been written and illustrated by Tomiyaki Kagisora. This Happy Sugar Life manga has been serialized in Square Enix’s shonen manga magazine.
This Happy Sugar Life anime has even been licensed by Yen Press and it has even become an anime adaptation by Ezo’la and aired between July and September 2018. This series features a young high school student named Sato Matsuzaka who becomes friends with an odd and mysterious girl her age named Shio, who is everything people her age are not, she is different, she is aloof and cares about no one.
As soon as Sato starts spending time with her she starts falling head first into love. Sato in Happy Sugar Life Manga kidnaps her, she believes that Shio is the love of her and vows to protect her feeling of love, even if she can only do so by committing horrendous crimes and making the one person she loves hate her.
