In Shinka no Mi Manga! Hiiragi Seiichi has been called many names and is constantly bullied by many people. He has been ugly, revolting, dirt, smelly, fatass and the list goes on.
Seiichi has accepted his life and despite the odds, he manages to remain optimistic and positive that life for him will somehow improve. One day in Shinka no Mi, after school is over a voice starts talking on the microphone claiming to be God.
The voice on the microphone tells the school that they will all be transported to another dimension where there will be levels, stats and skills in Shinka no Mi manga. All the classes form lines and get ready for the transfer as the God on the microphone finishes a hero summoning ritual.
However, Seiichi (Shinka no Mi) is not allowed to stay with anyone and has to enter the new world separately, there because of his isolation he eats the fruits of evolution and this changes his life radically.
This story features his life and how his optimism leads him to become on the champions of the new world he finds himself in, despite the odds that are against him and the people that want to see nothing more than him failing.
