Jiang Ye, also known as “Nightfall” and “Ever Night”, is an ongoing manhua which was written by Mao Ni and beautifully visualized by the artist, Keng. It is a remake of the popular novel also written by Mao Ni.
The story Jiang Ye Manga starts off in Chang An – the capital of Tang, which stood in the most powerful empire on the continent.
General Xu Wei of the Chang An military, is accused of treason because he, unfortunately, had offended the Great General Xia Hou. As a punishment, the Great General Xia executes General Xua and his whole family in Jiang Ye.
Execution wreaks havoc on the city of Chang-an but amidst this terrible incident, a young boy named Ning Que (the protagonist of the story) manages to survive and even digs out a young girl named Sang Sang from a pile of corpses.
Since that day, they both decide to leave the city. From that day onwards, they promise to live and survive together in this world. And so together, they both enroll in the military in the Jiang Ye Manga.
They both are able to attain outstanding achievements in the military. Their plausible military experience gets them a recommendation for admission into the Scholar School (Jiang Ye) – a highly distinguished school. But fate takes a swift turn and Ning Que is ordered by his superiors to escort a carriage to another city.
To his surprise, the carriage is on its way to Chang An. And thus, begins an exciting journey. This Jiang Ye Manga story is an epic and legendary tale of a young man who stood out from the masses and rose in the ranks of the world.
This Jiang Ye manhua explores the miraculous journey of two acquaintances who turn into great friends. The story is very well written and is full of adventure, mystery, fantasy and even grazes over comedy.
