The Widow is a mature manga that is not appropriate for a younger audience. It features a young man who is the sole heir to a huge fortune which has been gathered by his award-winning novelist father who wins one award after the other.
John Cheon, our protagonist has a strict routine that he often follows and believes that if he doesn’t break it, his father Terrance Cheon will die and he will get all his money.
Every night he sleeps with a girl in his apartment and then goes back to his father’s mansion wishes everyone a good night, asks about his father and then goes back to sleep.
However, one night when he comes back to the mansion he sees that things are a bit different. He finds a girl named Ria has come to the mansion and he is unsure about her.
He asks one of the maids he’s sleeping with to keep a close eye on her. At 2 am he gets up to see if his father is dead but finds the girl in his father’s room being intimate with the old man.
He is shocked to see this and has no idea what to do. It takes him a moment to understand that his father is trying to have another child, a new heir.
This turns all the gears in his head and he decides to do something about Ria, who will soon become his father’s widow if he doesn’t do something. However, he finds himself thinking more and more about her.
