Yokubou Shounen or desire boy as it is known in English is a unique manga that follows the story of a large number of gay couples. With each new one starting because of the ending events of the previous.
The first story features a young man named Shinobu Uesugi, who has never had a father figure in his life and has no idea what it feels like to have a male figure influence your decisions and help you learn about yourself.
He moves to a new neighbourhood with his sister and mother to find a neighbour named Saguru Matsunae who sees a boy in need and takes on the role of his father in Yokubou Shounen Manga. Soon, young Shinobu Uesugi grows up and starts going through a phase of sexual discovery where he does not know what to do with his body or his newly discovered feelings.
He takes these questions to Saguru who decides to teach him. The story leads to young Hideya watching the two of them kiss and being filled with renewed hope that two men can be in a relationship. He has been in love with his childhood friend Makoto for a long time but had given up hope that he would ever fall in love with a man.
However, when he sees this scene he starts making advances that are reciporcated. The third story features a hopeless young man named Tanaka Tatsuki (in Yokubou Shounen at Mangazuki) who loses his job and prays to God for a way to get out of this world and start living on the moon.
His prayers are answered and he summoned to a world of Tigers where he must wed their king Tigure. This leads to another story of a young ghost writer named Kisa who loves this countryside dinner and often eats there, however, the young and handsome owner decides he wants Kisa in his life in more ways than one.
The final story features Yoshino, whose life has just gotten interesting after a single father and his two kids move to a house near him. He becomes a motherly figure to the two kids and starts getting intimate with the father.
