In a foreign and different land, there was a time when monsters roamed the earth causing havoc and destruction wherever they go. Thousands of people suffered a great deal because of these monsters. Many were slain by these beasts. Then one day a hero appeared and sealed the hells gate, the portal between the human world and the world of the monsters. With the hells gate closed, the people could now live their life in complete harmony.
However, as time passed the seal became loose and monsters started to appear once again in the land. In Yussa ga shinda we follow the life of a simple radish farmer named Touka who on finding out that the monsters are free again, decides to build a trap. When the monsters attack, Touka tries to lure them into his secret trap but he fails miserably.
Luckily the local village hero saves the day by killing the monster. He is praised by all for his heroic stance. However, an unfortunate incident occurs the hero after defeating the monster falls into the trap that Touka set and dies. He was looking for food and when he saw bacon in Touka’s trap he fell right in. now with the local village hero gone. Touka must take on the duty of a hero and protect his village at all costs.
